This policy describes what information the SanHe Loupan mobile application ("the App") collects, how it's used, and your choices over it.
The App is operated by Aleta AImatic. For privacy questions or data requests, email jeremiah@rudratech.sg.
If you sign up, we store the username, optional email, optional first and last name, and optional phone number you provide. Your password is hashed; we never store it in plaintext.
If you save a profile, we store the name, relation tag, gender, birth date and time, lunar/solar flag, timezone, optional notes, and a computed BaZi snapshot (Four Pillars, day master, eight mansions directions, luck pillars) on our backend. This data is associated with your account only.
Whether you've chosen true or magnetic north and your local declination value are stored on your device.
The App reads your device's magnetometer to render the compass and the camera and microphone during video calls. None of this data is recorded or uploaded to our servers.
We don't collect location, advertising identifiers, contacts, calendar, photos, or any analytics. The App does not track you across other apps or websites.
Account and profile data are used solely to let you sign in and to let connected feng shui consultants (if you authorise one) view the profiles you've shared with them. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
Video and audio in 1-on-1 sessions are transmitted peer-to-peer using WebRTC. When direct peer-to-peer is not possible (different mobile networks, restrictive Wi-Fi), the streams are relayed through a TURN server operated by Metered.ca. The relay is encrypted in transit, and Metered.ca does not retain the media. See metered.ca/privacy-policy for their terms.
The App is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
You can delete any saved BaZi profile from inside the App at any time, which removes it from our backend immediately. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email jeremiah@rudratech.sg with the username on the account. We will action the deletion within 30 days.
You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time via the email above. We will respond within 30 days.
If we materially change this policy we will update the date above and where reasonable notify users in the App. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
